All I can say is "WOW" -- you are as fabulous and awesome as ever. I love your CD -- so smooth and listenable. It was one of those happenstance experiences that I reconnected with you for 5 seconds on the bus this morning (2/24/11). Just seeing you and getting the CD made my day. Thank you so much. Love to you, Marilyn

Years ago, through Great Expectations, I met a Vivian Perry. We were in our twenties, in the Costa Mesa area. Is it at all possible? I see resemblances. If so, hello ... if not, love your music!

Vivian, Thanks so much for the CD! You really are a Jazz Singer. What a great selections of songs. You and your band sound great. I look foward to listening to the CD on my stereo rather than the laptop.

Vivian, Wow! No. I mean: "WOW!" You have put some serious polish on that voice, dahlin'. The boys are great. The pianist and the sax are wonderful, and work very well with you. "Devil Moon," and "Night and Day" are marvelous. The lower end of your register has really blossomed. With these arrangements, the songs sure shine. Looking forward to the next CD... which will be when...?

Wow. I can see that I should have caught up with you sooner! Beautiful, memorable music and a really classy quartet--I wish you huge success.

Vivian's vocals cross generations. Watched "American in Paris" with my 21-year old son last night and he liked the music, dated though it might seem to him, he asked if anyone still did those tunes. In his boarding school in Pacific Grove he'd hosted a late-night music request program and every so often got a request from a faculty member or some others seeking that "old-time music." Said he wished he'd had a Vivian Perry CD back then, since any age of listener would appreciate it. I hear a new CD is coming out in October --both of us look forward to That Old Black Magic she weaves so well...
